Geggiaiolo Toscana IGT

  • Geggiaiolo, our Supertuscan, with its grapes of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah mixed in equal parts, reflects the identity of our precious land. The three vines are well harmonised in this rich and structured but velvety wine that will certainly satisfy the wishes of a less traditional glass.

  • Annual Production: Approximately 8,000 bottles
  • Organoleptics: Dark ruby with black reflections and cherry rim. The bouquet is wide with berry fruit laced with slight vegetable accents, a pleasing savoury spice, it’s frank minerality perfectly reflects his “terroir”.

On the palate it's well bodied, with rich cherry fruit supported by smooth sweet tannins that flow into a fairly long tart finish. A meditation wine too, very elegant and balanced, will age nicely for a number of years.

  • Serve With: Venison, Roasts or Stews and great with aged cheeses.
